Hi, I’m Chiara Rose Skabelund, the artist and maker behind Wild Rose Prints—a small, independent textile studio founded in 2020 and based in San Diego, California.
Wild Rose Prints began in my hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona, during the pandemic as a creative outlet and a way share my art with others. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textiles from Arizona State University, where I developed my skills in screen printing, weaving, dyeing, embroidery, and other textile techniques.
Today, I create colorful, nature-inspired textiles and goods featuring my original illustrations. Each piece is designed, printed, and finished by hand in my studio, transforming everyday objects into functional works of art inspired by the plants, animals, and places I love.
